Kipawa is a Nairobi event production company — the crew behind the Kipawa Skul Tour and a growing equipment hire operation serving all of Kenya.
Our story
From school fields to full production.
Kipawa started where the energy is hardest to fake: school grounds. The Kipawa Skul Tour took a simple bet — that students everywhere deserve a real stage, real sound, and a real audience for their talent — and turned it into a touring production that has put thousands of students under proper stage lights across Kenya.
Running tours meant owning the whole stack: stages, PA systems, lighting rigs, tents, barriers, generators, and the crew to run them. Clients started asking for exactly that — the same production quality for their weddings, launches, and parties. Today Kipawa is two things under one roof: an event production team and a full equipment hire catalog, run by the same crew.
“Kipawa” comes from the Swahili for talent / gift — and that’s still the whole business: giving talent, and celebrations, the stage they deserve.
